17.1.14 - IMPORTANT - BTC Trim
There have been a number of changes at BTC Trim (British Trimmings) in recent months. An American company have taken over the business and after a strategic review they have decided to no longer stock support the Product Portfolio, which encompasses their entire range.
Until now we have been able to fulfil most customer orders with our existing stock and the stock that BTC have had remaining on their shelves. A letter was due to go to all customers next week explaining the stock situation.
Unfortunately BTC have notified us today (17th January 2014) that they have now sold all remaining stocks and any new orders would need to be for manufacturing quantities averaging at 400mtrs for a trim and 2-300 units for tiebacks.
We have no choice other than to withdraw BTC Trim from our ranges once the stock we have remaining runs out. If you have an order to place please check stock availability at the time of order.
We apologise for the short notice and the inconvenience this is going to cause but please be re-assured that we are looking into new ranges of our own that will replace some of the best loved products. As soon as we have more information we will let you know.
17.1.14 - Delivery Charges
Please note that due to a recent price increase from Tuffnells the delivery charge for UK and Ireland orders under £55 nett will increase to £9.50 with effect from 10th February 2014. This is the first increase we have made on our basic carriage charge since 2008.
Please don’t forget that all orders over £55 nett are carriage free and any trimmings orders under £40 nett are charged at just £2.75 postage.
